Look to the Sky

As I  turn 40 next week I have thinking  a lot. With so many things happening in the world & also through my Meniere’s Disease, it’s easy for one to be depressed. But we must remind ourselves that when you except Christ as your Savior, this life is just temporary. One day the Lord will call us & we will join him in heaven for eternity.

I pray that you will one day be there with me

One of the hardest things suffers have to deal with is when family & friends don’t believe or understand Meniere’s. It’s not a disease in which a doctor can take scan & see something abnormal. For many patients, depression is common for them just like with many illnesses. But when you don’t have not support, it can be 10 times worse.  I have been lucky with great support from my family, friends, co-workers. But I’ve seen others where marriage have fallen apart & people can be down right mean. With stress being a trigger for Meniere’s, it only makes vertigo attacks more intense & more often.

With my Meniere’s & Christ, I felt the need to help others. So I run 2 Facebook support groups for Meniere’s suffers. Please feel free to join either or both. They are closed groups so only members can see the posts. If you would like to join just click request on the group page & also send me a personal FB message stating you want to join. I will look for your name & approve it. I have to do this sadly because there crazy people that try to scam patients or spam the group.
