As the work week ends & I’m sit here typing with a headache while I’m waiting to have my car’s oil changed. The smell of new tires in the lobby always bothers me. I’d go outside but it’s like 90 degrees & humid. As the headache gets worse it is making me a little dizzy. One of many challenges a Meniere’s patient goes through. It not easy even with God on your side. As humans we tend to close up & start feeling a little anxiety which makes you feel worse. But you have to remember God has your back & it won’t last forever. There are so many people that just fight to take a breathe. I can’t imagine what it feels like to hear you have something like terminate cancer.
I know it hard in the moment to find something positive but the best thing you can do is pray for God to give you comfort & strength. He will always hear your cries.

God Is Always With You

Isaiah 9:2-3
2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.They lived in a land of shadows,but now light is shining on them. 3 You have given them great joy, Lord;
When I received these verses on my phone tonight, it reminded me of when I felt in the dark with Meniere’s. It was like a dark hole that just didn’t have an end to it. Many patients with Meniere’s end up very depressed & the doctors feel by just giving them another pill things would be ok. Sometimes we need to just open or hearts to Jesus & let him handle the situation. It can be very hard but one day I realized how much Jesus suffered just for us. Nothing in the world could be worse than what he went through. Jesus knew his fate but he loved us so much that he still did it. Now because of his blood being shed on the cross, through his grace we can have everlasting life.
That was an amazing moment for me that finally gave me the light at the end of the tunnel. As I felt myself getting closer I felt his love getting strong & no matter what Meniere’s does to me, I will be ok.
There will always be bumps in the tunnel but just remember you are never alone. As of today the fear & doubt is gone. I can’t even tell you when I used my Meniett Device last for vertigo. There is always hope you can control your Meniere’s. Sure we may need human doctors but the best one is free & Jesus never turns patients away, no matter what.
